Drew's Y-Ball

Drew just started his 3rd year of YMCA basketball. His team is the Lightening Bolts. R.B. gets to coach again and loves being able to teach and coach Drew and his friends.
What awesome defensive position Drew!

Landon's "Eye Issues"

A few days ago Landon had some gunk in his eyes so I tried to get a jump on things and put some antibiotic eye drops in his eyes. He was quite reluctant as I was putting this cold, foreign substance in his eyes. After the dramatic insertion, he told me that his eyes were broken and that he needed a band-aid on them.
Not wanting to delay his bedtime, R.B. and I did just that and as magical as band-aids always tend to be he settled right down...

...and went to sleep...

What a good boy, funny, too.

Fall Fun

Landon wasn't too excited about laying in the leaves.
I at least got a quick smile. We'll have to try next fall for a better picture.

Trick or Treat 2008

One day while R.B. was gone on a business trip Brooklynne asked me if she could get her ears pierced. Thinking I was smart and she would forget about asking I just said, "let's wait and ask dad." So after R.B. returned home, Brooklynne immediately went into our bedroom and asked him if it was okay to get her ears pierced. I was really shocked when he said lets go do it now. (He's a sucker for his little girl.) We had tentatively planned on her doing it when she was a few years older but oh well. She was more than ready! Look at her in the above picture, she's excited!
...still a bit excited as her ears get marked...
...growing a little unsure...
Then BAM!! This picture tells it all.
She really only cried for a few seconds. She was so brave! She is now good about letting everybody know she got her ears pierced. She looks so pretty, too.

Spencer's football season

Spencer in on another sack

Spencer started his first year of tackle football this year. R.B. and I, well I was, a little bit nervous about the whole tackle thing at first but it was so much more fun to watch than flag football. Spencer's team had a great season, awesome coaches that taught him a lot about football and a bunch of great boys on the team. Spencer was lucky because two of his best friends were on the team with him, Brandon Caruso, and Erik Haun. We loved watching Spencer learn and play this year. He was one of the best tacklers on the team. Way to go, buddy!

Here is what Spencer thought about playing football this year: It was fun. I was number 34 because my Uncle Brad was that number when he played for BSU. I played defensive end most of the season. I liked it the most because I got to sack the quarterback. I also played running back and on the offensive line. My coaches were nice because they taught me a lot about football.

We hosted the Warth Annual Halloween Party this year at our home. We had a ton of fun playing games like wrap a mummy, skeleton bone hunt, and waiter, there's a head on my plate. Aunt Caryn made a spooky spook house in our garage that was really fun, too. We ate yummy food for dinner, smashed a pinata that Aunt Aurelia made, had a donut eating contest, and saw lots of great costumes. It was a fun having a bunch of cousins and friends together to create another year of spooky memories.

A Day at the Pumpkin Patch

Well, I finally have given into the "gentle nudgings" of both sides of the family to get in gear and start a blog so here goes...I hope you enjoy my family as much as I do as I share a bit of our lives with you!
Brooklynne wasn't too excited about this year's venture to the patch. Can you tell?

Spencer found his big catch for the day, well his second one, he did catch the ball during his football game he won, too.

Landon was sleeping so he missed out but at least he was warm because it snowed the day before.
